Mrs. Liza Meyers- English I CP/ADV

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Liza Meyers, and I'm excited to be your child's English teacher! This is my second year teaching at Dorman Freshman Campus. I graduated in May of 2022 from Clemson University with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. Go Tigers!

In my class, your child will continue to develop their skills as a reader and writer, analyze a variety of works by examining literary, poetic, and dramatic devices, and learn to use different writing strategies and skills. Throughout the semester, your child will also learn parts of speech and how to correct common grammatical errors in their writing.
