About Me

   I grew up in Duncan, South Carolina, and graduated from Byrnes High School in 2020. My love for the arts began during my sophomore year when I took my first art class. That experience sparked a deep passion for creativity, which only grew stronger when I picked up a camera for the first time. From that point on, art and photography became a big part of my life.

 

   I went on to attend Carson-Newman University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award. My work has been featured in several exhibitions, and I’ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a career.

For the past eight years, I’ve owned and operated my own photography business, specializing in wedding and portrait photography. Through this work, I strive to capture meaningful moments and tell authentic stories through the lens.

 

   Alongside my professional work, I’ve discovered a love for teaching and inspiring the next generation of artists. Sharing my knowledge of art and photography with kids has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. I’m passionate about helping young creatives build confidence, develop their skills, and find their own artistic voice.

 

   Outside of photography and teaching, I enjoy volunteering with our church youth group. Investing in students, building relationships, and encouraging them as they grow has been an incredibly meaningful part of my life and has strengthened my passion for working with young people.
