Bio/Contact Info
Hi! My name is Julie Forth and I am teaching Essentials of English I and Independent Living Skills in the Fall. In the Spring, I will teach Employability and Essentials of Technology I. I graduated from Francis Marion University with a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Learning Disabilities in May 2024. I received my Bachelor of Communications with a concentration in Theatre from the University of South Carolina-Upstate in 2004. Prior to teaching, I was an assistant at Fairforest Elementary for 5 years (4 of which were in special education classrooms). I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Eric, and we have three children, Alex (16), Michael (13), and Abbie (11). The younger two attend R.P. Dawkins and my oldest is at Dorman.
My assistant, Nikki Stuttz, is also in her second year at DFC. She was at Fairforest Elementary for 8 years as an assistant in special education classrooms. We worked together and found that we make a great team! She has been married for 27 years and has three children.
If you need to contact me, the best way to reach me is by email at [email protected]. We can schedule meetings to meet in person or by phone to discuss any issues concerning your child. You are also welcome to call the school and leave a message in my voicemail at 864-582-3479 ext. 5122.
