Bio/Contact Info
Hi! My name is Julie Forth and I will be teaching Employability and Daily Living Skills this semester. I will be teaching Essentials of English and Daily Living Skills in the Spring. In May of this year, I graduated from Francis Marion University with a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. I received my Bachelor of Communications with a concentration in Theatre from the University of South Carolina-Upstate in 2004. This is my first year as a teacher, but I have been an assistant at Fairforest Elementary for the past 5 years (4 of which were in special education classrooms). I have been married for 21 years to my husband, Eric, and we have three children, Alex (15), Michael (12), and Abbie (10). All three of them are at District 6 schools, with my oldest at DFC.
My assistant, Nikki Stuttz, is also coming from Fairforest Elementary. She was there for 8 years as an assistant in special education classrooms as well. We worked together and found that we make a great team! She has been married for 26 years and has three children, two of which are in college (one at Upstate and one at Clemson-oh the rivalry!).
If you need to contact me, the best way to reach me is by email at [email protected]. We can schedule meetings to meet in person or by phone to discuss any issues concerning your child. You are also welcome to call the school and leave a message in my voicemail at 864-582-3479 ext. 5122.
