Welcome!

I'm Sergeant First Class Clements but you just call me “Sergeant C”. I recently retired from the United States Army after over 21 years of service. This will be my second year as the Army Instructor for Dorman Freshman Campus JROTC "Cavalier" Battalion. Outside of school I love watching the Buffalo Bills football team (Bills Mafia) and the Miami Heat basketball team (Heat Nation), spending time with family and friends, and watching good movies on any streaming app. My wife Michaela and I live in Boiling Springs, SC with our two daughters, Natalia and Noelle and our dog Niko. I graduated from Post University in 2020 with a Bachelor Degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. I’ve held many leadership positions while serving in the United States Army.

Philosophy

I believe every student is unique and deserves a caring, inspiring, and engaging atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially. As an educator I want to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing a safe, risk-taking, and collaborative environment. I want our students to develop positive character and leadership traits which are essential in becoming a productive citizen.
